The ESA Virtual Space Weather Modelling Centre - VSWMC

The ESA Virtual Space Weather Modelling Centre (VSWMC) provides an infrastructure for installing geographically distributed system elements (simulation models) as federated elements within the SSA SWE network. It serves as a repository for accessing space weather models and allows users to interactively couple SWE models and interactively execute coupled model simulations, including end-to-end (i.e. Sun-to-Earth) space weather simulations. Visualization tools are integrated in the VSWMC which makes it a useful tool for validating model output and comparing the performance of installed models. The simple Graphical User Interface (GUI) makes it an ideal interface for forecasters and other users to perform complex simulations in support of SWE predictions and/or scientific investigations.

On the fair, the current operational VSWMC component will be demonstrated and access will be provided to interested users.
Come try it yourself!
