Splinter - SSA Space Weather Service Network

M. Kruglanski, A. Glover
Tuesday 18th, 15:30 - 17:00

The ESA Space Situational Awareness Programme supports networking, development and the ultimate utilisation of European space weather assets in order to provide timely space weather information, products and services to end users as well as user support. The SWE service network is centred around a number of Expert Service Centres (ESCs) and an overall Coordination Centre and helpdesk (SSCC). Services are accessible via the SSA SWE Portal at http://swe.ssa.esa.int/.

This splinter meeting will present the current status of the SWE service network as well as upcoming development plans. The splinter is open to all and contributions from the wider space weather community are welcome. The meeting also offers a forum to the current and future expert groups to exchange their experiences with the federation of assets through the network and their relationship with the SSCC and ESCs. Scope for targeted actions to further enhance cooperation between entities participating in the network will be discussed.
