The state-of-the-art approach in Space Weather research and operations consists in the creation of both common and standard frameworks for the fusion of data and models capable of providing effective monitoring, modelling and forecasting at global and geographical levels. In this context, various past and ongoing FP7 projects have contributed to the achievement of this goal. The aim of this splinter meeting is to highlight the aspects of FP7 projects that can be functional to Space Weather by augmenting the existing capabilities.
