Posters

Both p-poster and e-poster are contributions to the poster part of a session, only the display differs.

P for Printed

A p-poster or printed poster is the classical paper poster which is made, printed and hung on a poster board by the authors. The authors can hang their poster in the morning of their session and have to remove it at the latest after the last session/working meeting of that day. The velcro needed to stitch the poster to the boards will be provided by the ESWW12 organisation. The boards for the paper posters are 75cm wide and 2m high. There are no on-site printing facilities.

E for Electronic

An e-poster is an electronic poster which will be on display on a digital screen.
An e-poster needs to be uploaded by the authors through an online tool before 12 AM of the workday before the session to which the authors contribute (link below). The local organisation will put the e-poster on display on a 42 inches landscape monitor with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. Native means that this resolution is the best to work with.

An e-poster can be a 1-5 slides presentation including movies, but needs to be windows-playable, e.g. ppt, pptx, open office, pdf, etc. Please make sure the e-poster presentation loops automatically without manual manipulation. "Interaction" with the e-poster, i.e. the author forwarding from 1 slide to the next one, is not foreseen.
