ESWS2020 is being introduced due to the adverse effects of COVID-19 on our ability to safely meet in person in 2020. The event will run in the gap that was originally taken up with ESWW2020 in Glasgow, which has now been postponed to 2021 and is otherwise known as ESWW2021. This ESWS2020 will also serve as a starting point for the introduction of a robust online element to future ESWW events so that the meeting becomes more accessible to a wider set of colleagues from all around the globe.
