STCE Workshop - Automatic detection of events in radio data

Friday May 31, 2013 - Meeting Room at RMI, 10:00 - 15:00

In many radio observations carried out by scientists, spectrograms are used. There is often the need to search for events with specific shapes in noisy images and/or images with parasitic signals. The goal of this workshop is to gather scientists using recognition pattern techniques in images (coming from radio observations or not) and see how techniques used in specific fields might be applicable to other fields.
