One aspect of space weather effects on aviation is radiation. Strong Solar Energetic Particle events may affect technical infrastructure and human health. This technical meeting offers an open platform for debating on currently discussed topics in scientific and user communities. In particular, the focus will be laid on:
1. Practical space weather scales and risk indicators/indices due to enhanced radiation levels at flight altitudes for easy-to-understand information dissemination
2. Space weather forecasts for aviation: confidence levels and lead times for future radiation dose forecast
3. Potential international scientific collaborations on subjects related to radiation due to space weather
