Community Coordinated Modeling Center (CCMC)

The Community Coordinated Modeling Center (CCMC) helps transition of modern space science models into space weather forecasting while supporting space science research. It has been providing invaluable resources to space weather scientific and operational communities for over 15 years. CCMC has developed and provided innovative web-based tools varying from Runs-On-Request System - providing unprecedented global access to the largest collection of state-of-the-art solar and space physics models, Integrated Space Weather Analysis (iSWA) – a powerful dissemination system for space weather information, advanced online visualization and analysis tools for more accurate interpretation of model results, standard data formats for simulation data downloads. We also support development of 3D visualizations of complex space science phenomena related to Sun-Earth connection, solar and heliosphere events and geomagnetic storms, in support of scientific research and planetarium and shows.

We will showcase CCMC’s latest innovative tools and services that are publicly available online: http://ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov.
