Plenary sessions

The ESWW plenary sessions form a key component of the conference. They are designed to be open to all attendees and so of interest to the wider space weather community. For ESWW2022, the four plenary session topics are based on the overarching conference theme, ‘The importance of comprehensive space weather monitoring’.
When submitting a proposal, please select whether or not you intend to include a panel discussion.

Following the deadline for the proposal of plenary sessions, the PC will select four proposals, the conveners will be notified and a call for session abstracts (talks, posters and Quick Views) will be announced.

The four plenary session topics for ESWW2022 are:
  1. Ground-Based Space Weather Monitoring Networks
  2. Exploring Multi-Spacecraft Space Weather Monitoring: From Nanosatellites to Big Observatories and Looking to a More Sustainable Future (ongoing observations/measurements to sustain datasets, low-cost and green technology, more environmentally friendly, and ensuring we are not cluttering up the skies above us)
  3. Multi-Wavelength Space Weather Monitoring
  4. Cross-Domain/Coupled Space Weather Monitoring for Industry and Other End Users
